Renia Hardener C is an advanced polyisocyanate crosslinking agent developed in Germany by Renia GmbH. It is engineered to transform single-component contact adhesives into high-performance 2-component bonding systems.

By creating dense molecular crosslinks within the adhesive matrix, Härter C significantly enhances bond strength, elevates thermal stability beyond +120°C, and provides unmatched resistance against plasticizer migration, oil, fuel, grease, and moisture.

Mixing Ratio & Application Guide:

1. Dosage: Add 5% to 10% of Renia Hardener C into the contact adhesive (e.g. 50 ml to 100 ml of hardener per 1 Litre of glue).

2. Mixing: Stir the mixture thoroughly for at least 30–60 seconds to ensure homogeneous crosslinker distribution.

3. Pot Life / Working Window:

• Once mixed, the 2-component adhesive remains usable for 4 to 6 hours.

• Note: Adding hardener reduces the open time of the adhesive by approximately 30–40%.

4. Application: Apply, dry, and press the mixed adhesive following the standard instructions of the base cement.

5. Curing: Initial green strength allows immediate processing. Full chemical crosslinking and maximum thermal resistance are achieved within 24 to 48 hours.
