RENIA – All-Purpose Thinner & Cleaner

Renia Thinner / Diluant is the official, high-grade solvent formulation engineered in Germany by Renia GmbH. It is specially designed to dilute and adjust the viscosity of all polychloroprene (CR) and universal contact adhesives, as well as thoroughly clean application equipment.

Formulated 100% free of Toluene and MEK, it restores thickened glue to its original consistency without degrading bonding strength, open time, or elasticity.

Recommended Uses & Applications:

Adhesive Dilution: Thinning solvent-based polychloroprene (CR) adhesives to achieve a thinner coating for lightweight fabrics, headliners, and delicate leathers.
Tool & Equipment Cleaning: Cleaning brushes, glue containers, dispensers, nozzles, and rollers after automotive trimming, leathercraft, or upholstery projects.
Surface Degreasing: Preparing and degreasing non-porous surfaces (metals, hard plastics) prior to adhesive application.

Usage & Dilution Guide. Diluting Adhesive:

1. Add Renia Schnellkleber-Verdünner in small increments directly into the thickened cement.

2. Stir thoroughly until a smooth, uniform, and brushable consistency is achieved.

3. Avoid over-thinning, as excessive solvent will reduce solids content and require additional coats.

Equipment Cleaning:

1. Soak brushes and tools immediately after use in a small amount of Schnellkleber-Verdünner.

2. Wipe clean with a lint-free cloth once the adhesive residue has dissolved.
