Common characteristics

• 35 kg foam specified for vehicle headlining, with the face cloth for this use
• Bi-elastic in width and length (4-way stretch)
• Colour held between batches

Sandwich — about 4 mm

Fabric + foam + bi-elastic mesh.

The mesh is a barrier: adhesive stays on that layer and does not enter the cells of the foam. The face is not marked when the liner is pressed on. The piece can be lifted and set again in normal fitting. Manufacturer figure: about 15% less adhesive, with stretch and bond retained.

Use for headliner board and door cards.

Pillars — about 2 mm

Same family, thinner build. A/B/C pillars and sunroof surrounds.

Fitting

Coat the board and the backing. Wait until tacky. Press. Do not put adhesive on the face. Headliner contact adhesive: Paniker or Trim Fix.
