Alcantara® Automotive Catalogue
Choosing an Alcantara® colour from a screen is a gamble, especially with dark greys, blues and blacks. This catalogue has real swatches of the Alcantara® automotive colour range on a fold-out card, each printed with its 4-digit code. You can check the colour and nap in daylight, against the car, before you order by the metre.
What’s inside:
- Colour range: numbered swatches from creams, beiges and browns through yellows, greens, oranges and reds to blues, greys and blacks.
- Finish samples: larger samples labelled Cover and Soft, to compare the two finishes side by side.
- Matching codes: the 4-digit codes on the card are the codes used on our Alcantara® Pannel product pages, e.g. Alcantara Pannel 9040.
About Alcantara® Pannel (the version we sell by the metre)
Alcantara® Pannel is a microfiber composite engineered in Italy for automotive interior wrapping, with a soft, non-directional suede nap. The Pannel variant is an unbacked, single-layer formulation designed to stretch and conform across curved, complex cabin shapes without adding bulk.
- Unbacked flexibility: lightweight, single-layer structure conforms smoothly around tight pillar curves, dashboard recesses and sun visors.
- Abrasion resistance: ≥ 30,000 Martindale cycles (UNI EN ISO 12947-1/2/3/4) with no cosmetic alteration.
- UV lightfastness and non-glare: Xenotest light resistance VDA 75202 / 2 FAKRA ≥ 3. The matt finish reduces windscreen reflections.
- Thermal comfort: stays cool in summer heat and warm in winter, without the stickiness of leather and vinyl.
- Easy spot-cleaning: water-soluble stains can be lifted without leaving rings.
